Hispanic Heritage Month takes place between September 15th through October 15th. During this month, we celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of all Hispanic and Latin communities. Join Floxsie's own, Jes Velez, and our panel of Hispanic and Latinx makers, Marilisa Lugo, Yesenia Gutierrez, and Martín Valle to discuss how their culture impacts how and why they make. The conversation in this session will allow the panelists share their views and how they see themselves as part of the fiber/maker community. We hope through this discussion we all learn more about the rich cultures of Latin America, Spain and Hispanic communities and how they inspire making.
