This session will be recorded and provided to all registrants of the class within 24 hours of the scheduled end time of the session and will be available to view for two full weeks (until December 3rd, 2022).

In this class, we will dive into the Pinecone Pocket pattern together and discover the magical delight of bobbles! With the help of Sydney, you'll learn how to create four variations of the bobble and understand how they are different. While creating the pinecone, we will also discuss the helpful technique of knitting backwards, so you won't have to constantly turn your work back and forth! We will hopefully get through the bulk of the pinecone section during class, then all you'll need to finish is the inner layer to line your pinecone. When we're in the bobble-making zone, Sydney will also tell you some pinecone facts and their symbolism in folklore!

Materials required: 75 yards [69 m] of DK weight yarn (ideally in a shade of brown, but that's up to you!); US 4 [3.5mm] double pointed or long circular needles; one locking stitch marker
Prerequisites: Students should feel comfortable with stockinette stitch, basic increasing and decreasing, and knitting in the round on double pointed needles or magic loop.
