raft Tutor and Textile Designer Shikira Alleyne, is a multi-crafter born and raised in South London. She designs and facilitates workshops for all ages sharing her joy of crafts. She teaches screen printing, embroidery and macramé and has had projects featured in craft magazines such as Mollie Makes, Love Embroidery and Simply Sewing. Her designs are inspired by her Caribbean heritage and the positive representation of people of colour. Her work explores the mixing of techniques like print, stitch and appliqué.
