Tammy White is shepherdess & proprietress of Wing & A Prayer Farm in Shaftsbury, VT where her fiber flock consists of Alpacas, Angora Goats, and 9 + breeds of fiber sheep, including many rare and heritage breeds. She hand dyes all of her farm's yarns with plants which she and her daughter Char grow or forage on their farm. She educates on and off the farm as to how to get the most from breed specific yarn farming, starting your own dye garden, natural dyeing, shearing workshops, regenerative agriculture, small batch tallow and beeswax soap & salve-making & marketing success on a small farm. She hosts workshops for creative folk that enjoy coming together in the country and visiting with her very social flocks and herds. Her passions include tending to her flocks and gardens, leading educational farm tours and baking up a storm in her 4-oven kitchen.
